We have lift off!  |  October 2016
We have officially launched the academy website. We encourage academy members to review the website and provide feedback.

A face to a name  |  30 March 2016

On the 29th of March executive committee members voted on a number of logo designs for the academy. On the 30th, the final design was approved, and has been incorporated in subsequent academy publications.

The coloured shapes form a network, representing the coming together of differing cultures and ideologies. Only when the pieces come together can the complete picture be realised. The use of negative space aids to illustrate what can only be seen when the pieces are aligned. A vibrant pallet of cool and warm tones were chosen that represent safety (yellow), knowledge (blue), growth (green) and health (orange).

The logo was designed by Wesley McTernan who has experience with research illustration and design.

Additions to the executive committee |  2 December 2015

Annabelle Neall and Wesley McTernan have been elected to the executive committee as finance officer and publications officer respectively.
